Art Education

As an art educator, nurturing creativity is at the heart of my journey and love for art. With more than a decade of teaching experience across diverse age groups, I deeply appreciate the profound significance of visual expression and art's historical narrative. My educational philosophy revolves around exploring diverse mediums, delving into the transformative influence of art on societies, and fostering the potency of collaborative creativity.

Student Work

I love teaching innovative art lessons which utilize a multitude of materials and techniques.

Some lessons connect to interdisciplinary studies, while other focus on Art History or basic

art making processes.

Art students enjoy collaborating on large, permanent and semi-permanent pieces using different media such as mosaic, paper, and painted murals.

Art Shows

Showcasing student work is a fantastic way to encourage confidence and craftsmanship in art students.  It is a joy to see their amazing creations on display!  Some art shows I have participated in are EDS STEAM Night, Lake Travis ISD Bee Caves Art Show, Artome Art Fundraisers, and Texas Art Education Association's TEAM

(Texas Elementary Art Meet).
